Concept
The European Business Readership Survey 2000 is the 13th in a series that began in 1973. Its objective is to provide users with marketing information on the responsibilities and readership behaviour of the most influential decision-makers in European business.

Scope
EBRS 2000 covers a sweep of 378,882 senior business figures in 54,827 companies and organisations across 17 countries, including industrial and commercial establishments with 250 or more employees, other leading companies with 150-249 employees, plus head office personnel of banks and insurance companies. The survey collects data on reading frequency and average issue reading for 336 national and international publications.

Result
The EBRS 2000 survey again confirms Management Today's position as Britain's leading business monthly, with a 28.6% penetration of all senior business people in the UK. It shows MT's readership as 49% higher than that of The Economist and almost double that of Director magazine.
