INTRODUCTION
This report is the 14th readership and product usage study of British businessmen and women conducted since 1973.
The present research was underwritten by The Telegraph Group, Financial Times Ltd, Times Newspapers Ltd, The Economist Newspapers Ltd, The Guardian Media Group plc, Independent Newspapers UK Ltd and Ipsos-RSL Ltd. Other media sponsors include a wide range of business publishers and advertising agencies.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
The 2000 survey is based on 3,008 personal interviews representing a universe of an estimated 1,441,000 businessmen and women.
DEFINITION OF A BUSINESSMAN OR WOMAN
The survey represents business people who have managerial involvement and influence, together with business people who take part in, or exert influence at, some stage of decision-making processes relating to corporate purchases.
RESULTS SUMMARY
The British Business Survey 2000 shows that Management Today continues to be Britain's best- read monthly business magazine. With readership among all business people of 88,000, Management Today is read by twice as many business people as Director and Real Business combined.
Management Today enjoys a higher readership among senior managers than any other business magazine.
